The 17th district is situated in the north-western part of the city. It’s a calmer area and sometimes looks like a French village from the ancient times, which is a good option to stay in for a family or those who travel with kids. Booking a hotel in Paris 17 will be less expensive than staying in the city center or near notable landmarks and quays. At the same time, you'll be close to the Montmartre neighborhood, which has the iconic Sacré-Coeur, as well as the Eiffel Tower. The district is called Clichy-Batignolles and contains numerous green zones and parks, as well as French restaurants and local groceries, some of which are centuries-old.
